The highly esteemed Royal Miniature Society's (RMS) annual exhibition of around 700 works is the world's foremost showcase for contemporary miniature art. 

While traditional portrait subjects continue unabated, today's artists incorporate a very broad range of subjects.  Within a size limit of 6in. by 4in., themes include landscapes, still life, interior scenes, birds, animals and stunning pieces of sculpture - each having one endearing feature - exquisite detail.

Despite their increasing popularity - the past three years has seen record sales - contemporary miniatures remain very affordable - prices starting at around £120.
