The British Wildlife Photography AwardsMon 2 - Sat 7 September 2013, 10am to 5pm (closes 1pm on final day)
The British Wildlife Photography Awards were established to recognise the talents of photographers practising in Britain, whilst at the same time highlighting the great wealth and diversity of Britain’s natural history.
This highly acclaimed and unique wildlife photography exhibition captivates visitors with the outstanding and beautiful imagery. It is a celebration of British wildlife as well as a showcase for the country’s leading nature photographers and this is the first time a photographic show has brought together such a comprehensive collection of stunning wildlife imagery from all over the UK and is uniquely British.
With twelve separate categories (including a new video category) covering everything from marine life and animal behaviour to creepy crawlies and urban wildlife; the show reveals the unseen splendour and surprising diversity of Britain’s wildlife, tinged with some humour and much affection. There are also two special junior categories to encourage young people to connect to nature through photography.
