Ambrus works predominantly in oils or pastels, and in a figurative style. She enjoys painting all subjects; portraits, gardens and still life. The common denominator is always colour.

Studied for a National Diploma in Painting and Printmaking

Studied Fine Art at the Royal College of Art

1994 Elected a Member of the Pastel Society

Teaches Portrait and Life Painting and Drawing for Surrey County Council.
