1920 Born in Oxton Nottinghamshire where she still lives.
Studied part time fine Art Nottingham Art College with Ronald Thursby and later with Leslie Goodwin.
Kathleen grew up with the love of the Land and the countryside around her. The Land work she did during the war years helped her understand the landscapes that she now paints, trying to portray mood and atmosphere. Being a mood painter she also turns her thoughts to abstraction.
Made a Member of the R.O.I in 1988.
