Statement

Lorna's work is narrative and mostly autobiographical.

Her paintings, usually oil on panel, start as memories and use these images of people, landscape, buildings, tools and 'stuff'- some actual, some remembered and some invented - to tell a story.

Bio

1946 Born in Pett, Nr. Hastings, Sussex

1962-67 Studied for a BA at Brighton Art School

2006 Elected a Member of the New English Art Club
