Simon Turvey SWLA

Statement

Simon Turvey's work is figurative and his subject matter is broad, ranging from Natural History to Portraiture, and Landscape to Still Life. Simon works from life and also sketches and photographs if need be.

Methodology

Simon works in both oil and watercolour, often working on several paintings at a time, which allows him a greater perspective on each piece. Some outdoor paintings may take only days to complete, while more intricate studio pieces may take weeks or longer.
