Drawing the Human Head

Luigi Vanzan, Persephone sq.jpg

THIS WORKSHOP IS FULLY BOOKED

The workshop will explore the possibility of capturing the person rather than the creation of a portrait on the basis that if a drawing looks like a portrait it is not representing the person . It would begin with short poses to explore a range of emotions and expressions of the human head and finish with a one hour study

Luigi Vanzan is a painter/printmaker who has taught life drawing at the Sir John Cass School of Art (now part of Guildhall University) and run portrait workshops at the Lewisham Arthouse.
