Marine Painting Demonstrations

The Royal Society of Marine Artists (RSMA) has a varied programme of painting demonstrations in the gallery during their Annual Exhibition. You can simply watch the artists at work and see how they develop a picture, or chat to them in a very informal setting, asking questions about techniques, materials, subject matter, etc.

The participating members work in very different styles, some using oil paints and some watercolour. To see them at work should prove an interesting and informative experience.
