Painting & Drawing in and around Carlton House Terrace workshop with Melissa Scott-Miller


Melissa's work is known for its detailed observation and understanding of complex architectural forms. Join her on a day's painting and drawing as she takes inspiration from the grandeur of the Mall Galleries surroundings and nearby Squares. This workshop is suitable for all levels and is a must for anyone wishing to gain experience in Plein Air work.

Please bring your preferred medium, sketching stool/easel, hat, sun cream, and packed lunch.

Melissa Scott-Miller NEAC RBA RP is a painter of London street scenes, back gardens, and portraits that include detailed backgrounds. She is a member of the Royal Society of Portrait Painters and the Royal Society of British Artists as well as the New English Art Club, and in 2008 won the Lynn Painter-Stainers Prize. She has exhibited in the RA Summer Exhibition many times, several times in the BP Portrait Award, and in the recent Columbia Threadneedle Prize and Lynn Painter-Stainers Prize.
