Tour of the Artist in Residence Exhibition at the Museum of Freemasonry
Jacques Viljoen, 29, who studied Fine Art at the University of Cape Town and classical painting at the renowned Florence Academy has been working on site since January. The exhibition will include the work of another 10 young artists, all of whom have previously shown at Mall Galleries.
The work of all these emerging artists will be on display at Freemasons' Hall and as a Friend of Mall Galleries, you have the opportunity to see them in advance, with this private tour, meet the artist in residence and experience the Art Deco architecture of Freemasons' Hall itself.
The United Grand Lodge of England, the governing body for English freemasonry, has appointed an artist in residence to create a series of unique works inspired by freemasonry's ceremonies, objects and buildings as part of its tercentenary celebrations.
This event is Free and exclusively for Friends of Mall Galleries.
