"Both paintings exhibited are from my recent trip to Glasgow where I walked the city and its perimeter for a day.
The works are a response to the contemporary tourist experience and the places we encounter in between destinations. The Waiting Room addresses the anticipation of departure and return, whilst Rooftop speaks of the liminal spaces we find that cause us to reflect.
Also part of the exhibition is my written piece Beyond the Liminal, a reflective narrative on the trip which takes you on an emotive walk through Glasgow."
