The Hesketh Hubbard Art Society has been running life drawing classes, weekly, since 1930. This year the Society is showcasing the work the members produce at these two-hour drawing sessions, where around 100 artists come together to draw from four models: the 'quick' 15 minute poses, the 30-minute poses, the two hour 'long' pose and the two hour clothed portrait pose.
The variety of work ranges from quick sketches through to more considered works, both drawings and paintings, and gives an excellent view of the excitement and struggle involved in drawing from life.
