The common snipe sits quietly just watching the landscape. During the last year, it has been difficult to stop. Sometimes we have to find 'Time for Everything'. Stopping can seem to be the most difficult thing to achieve.
The first set of snipe sketches was at Cley Next the Sea, Norfolk. Sketching sometimes doesn't catch all the detail for the composition required back in the studio. The snipe were again seen at Sandwich Bay prior to the installation of their new scrape. A few more details were captured.
Titchwell in Norfolk with all the different layers of muddy lagoons and sea banks seemed to be a good backdrop for the snipe.
