The New English Art Club is a group of over 80 contemporary professional painters whose core ethos and cohesion lies in its championing of works born of observation, which is held to be a foundation that allows for a process of painting and drawing not necessarily either ‘naturalistic’ or ‘realistic’ in form.
The annual London exhibition is a showcase not just for its members but offers aspiring artists an opportunity to be seen alongside some of the best artists painting today.
Members of the New English will be in the gallery on selected days to talk to visitors, including Andrew James NEAC RP on Saturday 15 June (12pm to 5pm), Salliann Putman NEAC on Monday 17 June (12pm to 2:30pm), and Benjamin Hope NEAC PS ARSMA on Friday 21 June (2:30pm to 5pm).
NEAC members are also leading workshops during Mall Galleries' Workshop Week 26 to 31 August.
