Described by Time Out as a ‘magnificent thing to do in May', over 170 images and film shorts from 22 categories show how food touches every aspect of our lives across the world. Last year, entries came from 77 countries.
Categories range from Marks & Spencer Food Portraiture for stunning styled shots to Winterbotham Darby Food for Sale showing food sold anywhere in the world, from One Vision Imaging Cream of the Crop for images of simple produce to World Food Programme Food for Life showing the humanitarian side of food.
Food for Celebration sponsored by Champagne Taittinger shows how food is at the centre of celebrations across the world and WFP Storytellers shows pictures taken by young refugees in camps and villages in Uganda, Kenya and Bangladesh. While Errazuriz Wine Photographer of the Year shows the inside story of viticulture.
Judged by a stellar international panel chaired by David Loftus, the legendary food photographer, this collection of photographs and films is moving, beautiful, witty and surprising by turn.
