Carole Griffin is an Award Winning artist and member of the Royal Society of British Artists. She specialises in Still Life paintings using Oils or Watercolour but is equally happy painting all subjects.
In setting up for a Still Life painting, the aim is to emphasize the sense of drama around the objects, hopefully narrowing the focus to that present moment and slowing the sense of time to a stop.
Carole was awarded the prestigious UK Travelling Scholarship, which enabled her to work with a variety of artists and designers across North America. Having been trained at Central St Martins she also later taught there as a visiting lecturer as well as at Norwich, Salisbury and Harrow Art Colleges.
In 2014 Carole was awarded the Artist Magazine Award and in 2016 the Dry Red Press Award.
