Carole Griffin is an award winning artist specialising in still life oils and watercolour. She exhibits widely in the UK incuding an annual exhibition at the Mall Galleries in London. She is a member of the Royal Society of British Artists and was awarded the Artist Magazine Award in 2014 and the Dry Press Award in 2016. Carole is committed to inspiring others to artistic endeavour and is a skilled and enthusiastic teacher of art. She has been a visiting lecturer at Central St Martins, and at Norwich, Salisbury and Harrow Art Colleges. Carole regularly acts as a consultant on a range of artistic projects and events and has been instrumental in establishing a variety of Open Studio initiatives.
As a student at Central St Martins, she was awarded the prestigious UK Leverhulme Travelling Scholarship which enabled her to work with a variety of artists and designers across North America, winning numerous One Show Awards in the process. Carole was also awarded a number of D&AD awards for her graphic design work in advertising, publishing and the music industry.
