Derek Robertson

Derek Robertson, After The Plough Curlew
"From my project, Testaments of Loss, which documents the small scale incidents of environmental loss I have noted over my last 35 years as a wildlife artist. Modern technology of spring-suspension ploughs have allowed rough and uneven upland areas to be ploughed and re-seeded, turning semi-natural meadows into grass monocultures and destroying the habitat of waders such as the endangered Curlew." - Derek Robertson
Dry Red Press Award
The winning work reproduced as a greetings card
