Mall Galleries is pleased to once again welcome Japanese artists who demonstrate originality and creativity in the MINERVA Exhibition. The exhibition presents works ranging from traditional expressions to more “avant-garde” approaches, offering a broad reflection of the Japanese art scene today. Since 2015, Mall Galleries has played a sustained role in presenting Japanese art in London, and has continued to do so over the past eleven years.
In the 2026 edition of the exhibition, 280 distinguished Japanese artists will present contemporary Japanese painting, Western-style painting, sculpture and three-dimensional works, craft, calligraphy, photography, and NFT art.
Over time, a distinctive relationship has been developed at Mall Galleries between MINERVA artists and the Royal Society of British Artists. Each year, participating Japanese artists are invited to become Honorary Guest Members of the RBA for that year.
