This October, the Autumn 2025 edition of MODERN MADE returns to the Mall Galleries, London, presented by Lyon & Turnbull. Taking place both live and online over two sessions, the evening of 30 October and the day of 31 October, the auction offers an exceptional selection of works celebrating the best in 20th and 21st century creativity.
Bringing together Modern and Contemporary Art with a strong focus on Modern British painting and sculpture, the sale also showcases outstanding examples of Modern Design, Studio Ceramics and Contemporary Craft. Highlights include a group of elegant furniture designs by Finn Juhl, a striking large vessel by Jennifer Lee, and a rare early pot by Grayson Perry, first exhibited at the Stedelijk Museum in Amsterdam, the show that preceded his Turner Prize win.
Among the more intimate pieces in the sale are preparatory sketches by Patrick Caulfield, offering insight into his distinctive Pop art style, and a suite of textile designs by Czech born artist Jacqueline Groag, one of the leading figures in postwar British design.
Blending art, design and craft, MODERN MADE continues to be a platform for discovering innovative makers and landmark works that shaped modern visual culture.
