"I am a London based oil painter specialising in portraits. I work with impasto paint to create an image that portrays more than a simple likeness; the character of the sitter and the story that their portrait tells is just as important. Beyond individual commissions I work with international charities and NGOs to paint portraits of people who do not have a voice."

Tim was elected President of the Royal Institute of Oil Painters in 2018. In 2019, Tim was elected to the Royal Society of Portrait Painters.

Herbert Smith Freehills Kramer Portrait Award 2025 ~ Second Prize

Tim was named in second place of the Herbert Smith Freehills Kramer Portrait Awards at the National Portrait Gallery with his portrait of Cliff, Outreach Worker. 

Tim regularly exhibits at Mall Galleries and is a member of the Royal Society of Portrait Painters, the New English Art Club and the Royal Institute of Oil Painters.
