The Royal Society of British Artists presents a series of events to complement the RBA Annual Exhibition 2026:
Painting Demonstration by Hun Adamoğlu RBA
Friday 27 February, 11am and 2pm
The source of Adamoğlu's artistic influences stems from the diverse and substantial cultural history of European visual arts, coupled with the distinctive, wide-ranging, historical roots of Cypriot creative traditions, which inspire him to form inimitable and solicitous works.
In Conversation | Ken Nwadiogbu
Saturday 28 February, 2pm
RBA Rome Scholar, Ken Nwadiogbu, in conversation with the gallery’s Creative Director, Addi Aegisdottir, will discuss his practice, advice for other artists, and answer questions from the audience. Free with admission, booking required: exhibitions@mallgalleries.com
Artist Demonstration | Vicky Oldfield RBA
Wednesday 4 March, 11am to 3pm
Watch an artist demonstration by Vicky Oldfield RBA. Known primarily as a printmaker Vicky finds beauty in the natural and everyday world. From the domestic to woodland flora, garden flowers, weeds by the roadside, bottles on a cluttered windowsill are all grist to the mill for her work.
Painting without a Paintbrush

Join member of the Royal Society of British Artists, Guy Portelli RBA, for his demonstration, "Painting without a Paintbrush".

Friday 6 March, 11am and 2pm
Simon Hodges, currently Vice President of the Pastel Society, presents an illustrated talk covering his views and insights about being an artist, how he approaches it and how this will possibly help others, whether searching for answers, just starting the journey or simply along for the ride. There is a book available to accompany the event.
Use it or lose it; The Joy of Sketching
Saturday 7 March, 11am and 2pm
Simon Hodges, Vice President of the Pastel Society, shows why and how sketching is such an important element of his creative process as a drawer and painter and what it can do for any artist. He also illustrates his philosophy of ‘KISS’. There is a book available to accompany the event.
