Royal Society of British Artists | Annual Exhibition 2026
Welcome to the RBA Annual Exhibition 2026, an exciting and expansive survey of contemporary art practice. Founded in 1823 and granted the 'Royal' prefix in 1887, the RBA has remained one of the world’s premier art societies for more than 200 years.
The Society’s members, among the leading artists in the UK and beyond, present recent works alongside non-members, selected from thousands of entries. The annual exhibition promises to deliver audiences a show eclectic in medium and subject but consistent in ambition and quality.
The Society is especially excited to feature the work of Ken Nwadiogbu, the most recent recipient of the prestigious RBA Rome Scholarship.
To be awarded on the occasion of the annual exhibition is a variety of significant prizes, including The Huaicun Zhang Award of £10,000 for a work (or works) of exceptional quality.
A series of special events will accompany the exhibition, including the RBA Annual Lecture.
Special Event | Ken Nwadiogbu
Saturday 28 February, 2pm
RBA Rome Scholar, Ken Nwadiogbu, in conversation with the gallery’s Creative Director, Addi Aegisdottir, will discuss his practice, advice for other artists, and answer questions from the audience. Free with gallery admission, booking required via exhibitions@mallgalleries.com
