Jane Ellison | Chair of Trustees

Jane is Chair of the Trustees. A former BBC Executive, she is now an advisor to arts, heritage and higher education organisations. 

Max Angus SWLA

Max has a background in painting and graphic drawing. Her work captures wildlife in their natural surroundings. 

Professor Dana Arnold

Independent Trustee

Dana is Professor of Architecture at Manchester School of Architecture. She has published extensively on Art and Architectural History and her work has been translated into over 25 languages. 

Anthony Connolly PRP

Anthony is President of the Royal Society of Portrait Painters.

Jon Coppin

Independent Trustee

Jon was a leading commercial lawyer in the City of London. He is active in a number of charities and organisations supporting the Arts and the Environment.

David Glazebrook

Independent Trustee

David is a management consultant and project rescue specialist, with experience as trustee and treasurer of several charities. 

Michael Harrison PRBA

Michael is President of the Royal Society of British Artists.

Nicki Heenan RI

Nicki is a landscape painter, interested in the presence of the land through its granular nature and mineral composition.

Martin Howarth HH

Martin is a former policy lead for education and children's social care in central and local government. His artwork explores a range of themes and utilises a variety of media.

Rosie Martyr

Independent Trustee

Rosie is an Exhibition Registrar and museum professional, with experience in auction houses, arts charities, and public institutions. She has worked on a number of large-scale exhibitions and touring shows across the UK and internationally.

Luis Morris ROI

Luis uses painting as a way to celebrate light and the sensual joy derived from seeing.

Richard Rees PPS

Richard has a history in architecture and urban design. He uses oil pastel expressively to bring out the vibrancy of different built environments. 

Carolyn Simpson RBA RSMA

Carolyn creates sculptures that prioritise the fluidity and movement of the subjects rather than accurate and realistic depictions.

Toby Ward NEAC

Toby paints and draws people, the things they do and the places they inhabit using memory and imagination.
